Williamsport Bicycle Club

The Ghost Town Trail near Johnstown is a great rail trail. It is one of the rare ones in PA that has a bit of climb (as you head toward Ebensburg, PA.) The return trip to the west end of course includes a nice “downhill” section. I’ve ridden this trail many times and would love to organize a group ride.

We will start at the Heshbon Access Point, head east to Ebensburg and back. Total mileage is around 50. Along the way, we will stop at Vintondale to visit the mine water reclamation system. Also, we will stop at the Dillweed Inn, a beautiful B&B and shop in Dilltown. Judy and I have stayed there many times and highly recommend it. They have ice cream 🙂
