Montour Preserve Ride Saturday April 16th

This Saturday, Marie Landis and Bill Seward will be leading a ride from the Environmental Center Parking Lot starting at 10 AM.  If you haven’t ever ridden around the Montour Preserve, the terrain is gently rolling with lots of farm land and no really bid hills (unless you tell Bill you really want to ride them.) Bill is quite familiar with the roads in the area and will adapt the course depending on the interest of the group. I believe they are shooting for a ride of 25  to 30 mile long at a nice touring pace of 13 to 15 MPH. There is definitely an option for a shorter ride, if you want, but you must tell Marie and Bill and they will build in a loop into the course. For more information, you can send an email to bill at billiz2@verizon.net or send me a text at 570-279-1089. The weather this weekend is suppose to be sunny and 70 degrees. I posted link from mapquest for the starting location.

This will also be a good introduction to the terrain we will ride on May 13 through the 15th with the Bicycle Club Of Philadelphia.
