Traditional Sugar Valley Ride-28 miles

Saturday April 18, 2026 10AM

Sugar Valley Ride 04/18/2026 10AM.

This used to be the Club’s first ride of the season but we missed a couple of years. It certainly will be warm enough for a 10AM start. We will meet at the far end of the parking lot (  3379 E Valley Rd, Loganton, PA 17747) to stay out of the way of the big trucks. It is right across the street from a gas station, so it you need to use their restroom before the ride, be nice and buy a snack. The entire ride is within one valley, up one side and down the other. Technically we are starting at the top so going out will be a little quicker than the return leg. We normally do not see many cars but lots of buggies. I will lead it as a early season ride so I will try to keep the average pace around 13 to 14 MPH. You can tell bu the map that it is also easy to cut this loop short if you need to with the same beginning and ending as the group. Here is the link to the course and contour map:

Contact the Prez if you have questions or concerns:mdhnatin@verizon.net or by text at 657-749-7946. There will be an optional lunch afterwards at the Twilight Dinner in Loganton. I think it will be nice enough to sit out on the patio.

We will do this ride later in the season from Lamar. The extra 14miles along Ravine Road is worth it.
