Little Pine State Park to Liberty Ride Saturday July 11,2026 9AM

| Little Pine to Liberty and Back-15,30 or 45 miles. Leaders: President and First Lady Start time: 9AM Pace 13 to 15 MPH overall average. Length 15,30 or 45 miles. Club members have been asking about this ride since the beginning of the season. The weather looks decent this Saturday for this Club Favorite ride. It is an “Out and Back” ride with only two turns each way so it is easy to adjust the length of the course if needed. Everyone will start and stop at the same location. The First Lady and I are planning to lead the ride from the swimming area parking out at Little Pine State Park. There are restrooms at the swim area. The ride is mostly backroads except for about 1.5 miles on Route 287. It is gradually uphill all the way to Liberty. We will stop briefly in Liberty to refill our water bottles before the return portion of the course. You will really notice the downhill on the return leg with the increase in average speed all the way into the State Park where there are a couple of small inclines before the parking lot. We will be stopping by Happy Acres Restaurant afterwards for lunch and refreshments. They have good food with decent pricing.
